I’d like to dedicate this work to my family. I’ve spent most of my life trying to not be a selfish soul. I have prayed, searched, studied and cried trying to be less selfish, but in all my trying, I’ve still managed to let my selfishness cause dysfunction in my family– for this I am truly sorry. My family’s patience and love, their resilience and grace, has given me hope.
As a gift in return, I offer my family this work. I have received so much help from Jesus and His Word that I can’t keep to myself. I know what has strengthened me to overcome and I know it will help you too.
